Grafiks.org was originally launched sometime circa 2001-2002 to host Emily’s online portfolio, when she first started to dabble in the world of web design. Since then, the site has undergone numerous changes. In 2006 she finally decided to use Grafiks.org for more than just an online portfolio, in an attempt to offer free resources to other web and graphic designers.
Why Grafiks.Org?
Good question. ‘Grafiks’ in German is equivalent to ‘Graphics’ in the English language. Graphics.org was already taken, and frankly, Grafiks.org sounds cooler. Because of the name, the site gets frequent visitors come from the UK and Germany.
